Occupation

I just started a new company called Peecho. It offers print as a service through Printcloud, a cloud-based print platform.

Previously, I have been working as chief architect for Albumprinter. In Europe, we are one of the largest providers of services to create personalized photo books. We print over a million books a year, mainly for large retailers and our own brand Albelli.
  • My responsibilities are the architecture vision, strategy, innovation and business development.
  • The functional areas span our internet presence, consumer software, storage facility, order platform and plant automation.
  • As part of the IT management team, I work with about 30 developers and architects, including an outsourced team in Delhi, India - using a distributed SCRUM approach.
In 2008, Albumprinter was the winner of the Deloitte Fast 50 for fastest growing technology companies in The Netherlands. We came second in the EMEA Fast 500.
