Albelli partners with Photobucket
Finally, live from the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco, I can reveal to you the big secret that was responsible for the unusual stress levels at Albumprinter HQ in the past few weeks. Behold.
Albelli, our own brand for premium album printing, partners with Photobucket, by far the largest photo sharing site in the world.
To integrate with the just-released Photobucket API, we launched a public Beta release of our newborn photo product software today. This pristine editor breed - also known as X-editor - is a light-weight, cross-platform solution based on the brand new Adobe AIR runtime.
Today, a press release was unleashed on the business channels to spread the news. Tomorrow we expect the big traffic to hit our servers, as Photobucket will announce the partnership at its Expo booth.
I am really proud of the X-editor team, our internet-savvy sales people (they do exist) and ofcourse our vast army of test volunteers.
