WUP (Web Unified Process) is a lightweight and agile development method for web projects.
This where I keep technical posts that might come in handy.
KPN Hi (2001)
KPN Hi is a sub-brand of KPN, the largest telecom company of The Netherlands.
For KPN Hi, I worked as an interim technical project manager.
At Evident Interactive, a custom system was designed that facilitated both the Hi website and the inclusion of several KPN backend systems. Among these systems were an online GSM shop, a component for SMS service provision, an online shop for ringtones and an authentication service.
Using an agile method (Centrical's custom version of Xtreme programming combined with DSDM, check out the WUP site centrical.org for details) the team managed to deliver the solution in time and within the budget margins.
Currently (2005) the system and site are still being used.

A swift process
By the time I arrived, the project had only three months to go. At that point, there wasn't even a functional design yet. The business required a fast operation, because KPN Hi had set up a new television campaign (with Ruud Gullit, among others) that was going to be broadcasted at a fixed date.Using an agile method (Centrical's custom version of Xtreme programming combined with DSDM, check out the WUP site centrical.org for details) the team managed to deliver the solution in time and within the budget margins.
