Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (Yukon) Beta 2 has just been released on MSDN subscriber downloads.
SQL Server 2005 is Microsoft’s next generation data management and analysis solution. And yes, they included the .NET framework in the core data engine.
SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 includes new capabilities across database development, administration, deployment, and data analysis.
